Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications. You will also provide exceptional customer service, engage with customers, and develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions
  • Process prescriptions, including entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and developing strong relationships
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
