We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations Team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train warehouse associates and beneficiaries to achieve production goals and maintain operation efficiency.
- Oversee production department performance and lead by example, demonstrating a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate pricing and quality control of merchandise, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Collect and secure high-ticket items, ensuring their safe and proper use.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to differentiate quality of donated items and maintain high-quality standards.
- Previous experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations, with a proven track record of hitting production goals.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks and maintain a high level of energy and focus.
Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
