ASU Mid-South is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Instructor to teach core curriculum classes in the Industrial Technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial technology and experience in teaching or training.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Instruction: Instruct core curriculum classes in industrial technology, including fluid power, industrial drives, electrical circuits, and programmable controls.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades in the Campus Cruiser system.
  • Instructional Delivery: Conduct instruction in a variety of settings and time frames, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Organize and maintain instructional equipment as required.
  • Compliance: Comply with all policies and procedures of ASU Mid-South.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least three years of responsible experience as a plant technician with experience in fluid power, industrial drives, electrical circuits, and programmable controls, as well as plant safety and quality control.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills; a working knowledge of Microsoft applications; and evidence of ongoing commitment to professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching or industrial training experience.
