We are seeking an experienced Sr Software Engineer to join our team at the California ISO. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our supported business applications, while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Position

This position involves a range of responsibilities, including software development, analysis, design, development, integration, unit testing, and implementation. You will work closely with our vendors and service providers to ensure stability and reliability of associated systems.

Main Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Developing and maintaining application systems to ensure timely access to accurate, real-time data.
  • Maintaining enterprise application programs for internal and external ISO workflow and control functions.
  • Developing and implementing unit tests and code review processes related to all supported applications.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and procedures related to the maintenance and operation of application systems.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training, or experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent years of education and training, plus five (5) or more years related experience.
  • Experienced in all areas of software engineering, including design, development, analysis, and data modeling.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $116,250 - $193,750. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer flexible work arrangements, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
