Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team at Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated care and excellent patient outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as an RN circulator, preferably in GI, preferred.
