Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Store Team as a Retail Store Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start their career in retail and learn the skills necessary to succeed in a sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Count and verify receipt of merchandise to ensure accuracy and quality control.
  • Receive and process incoming merchandise deliveries, assisting with loading and unloading in the store warehouse.
  • Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the Store Manager or Support Supervisor.
  • Arrange merchandise on shelves according to style, size, and type, ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Assist with tracking inventory, tagging, and labeling of shelving as needed.
  • Use care when unpacking, storing, transferring, receiving, hanging, or displaying retail items to avoid damage and injury.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, bank deposits, data entry, reports, and audits as required.
  • Prepare product for display, including assembling, inserting bulbs, wiring, and pricing merchandise for the sales floor.
  • Perform other merchandiser duties related to maintenance of the stockroom, sales floor, and displays, including cleaning, dusting, and ensuring showroom aisles are clear.
  • May utilize the register or Kiosk to ring out sales or check product availability.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and focus, assisting with customer stock checks and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Motivated and upbeat individual with a passion for working with people and providing superior customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for in-home demonstrations and consultations.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work day shifts and weekends, with regular job attendance required.
