Job Responsibilities

As a Patient Care Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Providing nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living and performing procedures for physical hygiene and comfort.
  • Working as part of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team to share tasks and responsibilities.
  • Transporting newborns from Labor and Delivery to the nursery, cleaning equipment, and ordering supplies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing Assistant Course.
  • Listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry.
  • Graduation from a U.S. Military Medic course.
  • Emergency Medical Tech experience with one year of service.
Salary and Benefits
