Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Patient Care Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Providing nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living and performing procedures for physical hygiene and comfort.
- Working as part of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team to share tasks and responsibilities.
- Transporting newborns from Labor and Delivery to the nursery, cleaning equipment, and ordering supplies.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Assistant Course.
- Listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry.
- Graduation from a U.S. Military Medic course.
- Emergency Medical Tech experience with one year of service.
