Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Network Specialist to join our team at EOS IT Solutions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a large-scale enterprise network infrastructure for multiple customers, working as part of an expanding company with opportunities to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.

This role involves working as a Network Engineer Tier II within a Network Engineering Team, assisting with various network projects across the business, including network refresh, new technology deployments, and updating existing network documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with various network projects across the business
  • Network refresh
  • New technology deployments
  • Wifi design / troubleshooting
  • SDWAN deployments
  • Cisco DNAC deployments
  • Updating existing network documentation
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • DC deployments / turn up's
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience with Layer 2 Switching protocols
  • 2+ years of experience with Layer 3 Routing protocols
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot routing/switching technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP in an enterprise class environment.
  • Some experience with Linux OS/Networking
  • Experience with SDN and SDWAN deployments would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Networking Hardware and Deployment (Cisco Catalyst9K's, ASR9K, ISR4K, Nexus series, Wifi, Juniper EX and MX series)
  • Experience with multiple networking vendors including Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, and Arista
  • Ability to work outside regular working hours as needed by the client, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiar with generating Bill of Materials and turning designs into implementation.
