We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in various settings, primarily focusing on Med/Surg and Telemetry units, with the potential to float to ICU as needed.
Certification Requirements- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
- Certifications must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
The position adheres to a 75-mile straight line radius rule for travel assignments. Please ensure that candidates are aware of their submission to our facility and refrain from contacting the facility directly. Candidates must possess an active nursing license and provide at least two references, including one from a current manager, along with a resume and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
This is a 13-week assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant unit, with ICU experience being a preferred asset. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Previous completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is essential.
Work ScheduleShifts are primarily 12-hour varied schedules, with responsibilities mainly in Med/Surg/Telemetry, while also floating to ICU when necessary. Flexibility in shifts is required to meet departmental staffing needs, and on-call duties, including weekends and holidays, may be part of the role.
Additional Information- Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for this travel position.
- Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.
- State tax obligations will be managed through the agency and reflected in the invoice.
- Ensure accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth are provided.
