Position Overview:

We are seeking a part-time Coffee Specialist at our San Mateo location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service orientation and demonstrate flexibility in handling various responsibilities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently prepare high-quality beverages and food items for customers, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols for all products.
  • Comply with operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety measures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by attentively responding to both expressed and unspoken needs of customers.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute oral and written instructions, seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit, enjoying teamwork.
  • Previous experience in coffee preparation and cash handling is preferred.
  • Ability to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walk for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reach for up to 4 hours per day.
