The Skybar Host plays a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere of the venue, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment while enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage all patrons with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to the venue's service standards.
• Implement the 10/5 rule to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Verify the age of all guests entering the venue, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
• Provide accurate information regarding the venue's offerings and entertainment schedule.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the SKYBAR beverage selections and product range.
• Stay informed about events and activities occurring within the hotel.
• Communicate table minimums and event details to guests in a positive manner.
• Exhibit strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarize yourself with the venue layout and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and energy.
• Possess knowledge of hotel amenities and their operating hours.
• Relay pertinent information to the service team to facilitate exceptional service delivery.
• Demonstrate professionalism towards all guests, encouraging repeat visits.
• Collaborate with management and service staff to address customer needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in hospitality (preferably nightlife) or customer service experience. Multilingual abilities are advantageous but not mandatory.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. CA Guard Card is mandatory.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching regularly.
• Occasional lifting and moving of up to 20 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
