Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and reports to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree.
