Competitive Pay and Benefits
As a driver for Ryder, you will earn a competitive hourly wage of $29.93 and receive paid training. Additionally, drivers are paid weekly and can expect a steady income throughout the year. We also offer a range of benefits, including uniforms and boot allowance, quality employee discounts, and the option to become a company-owned truck if desired.

Safe and Efficient Transportation
Your primary responsibility as a dedicated solo driver for Ryder will be to transport goods safely and efficiently from one location to another. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, as well as performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure that your truck is in good working condition.

Daily Schedule
As a dedicated solo driver for Ryder, your daily schedule will typically include Monday through Friday hours, with occasional Saturdays. You will work on a variety of routes, including local and regional deliveries, and may be required to drive up to 11 hours per day.

Equipment and Technology
Ryder provides its drivers with modern and well-maintained equipment, including 36-month-old or newer trucks. You will also have access to our 24/7 roadside maintenance program and fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
