Job Summary:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving students' communication skills and enhancing their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' communication needs.
- Provide high-quality therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services provided, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is highly valued, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
