As a Clinical Technician in the Float Pool, you will provide direct care to patients with routine and standardized care requirements, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will maintain competencies and seek opportunities to develop professionally, communicating effectively and working cooperatively with others.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients with routine and standardized care requirements, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others, including health team members, patients, and families.
- Assist unit leadership with overseeing Clinical Technician education records.
- Maintain respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Identify own learning needs and assume responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift and Schedule: 12 hour Night, 2 days a week. Part-Time, with days varying. Ideal candidate must be able to attend 6 week training.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire.
- Training: Candidate must be able to attend six week training orientation upon hire.
- Special Skills: Proficient in English, with verbal and written communication skills required.
