We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and inspecting various structural systems, including commercial and residential buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and oversee the construction of new buildings and bridges, as well as extensions or alterations to existing structures.
- Conduct structural analysis and design using software such as Revit and Finite Element Analysis.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and design statements based on structural specifications, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure the structural soundness of various projects.
- Incorporate seismic design principles into your work to ensure structures can withstand earthquakes and other natural disasters.
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide technical advice to project stakeholders and resolve any structural issues that may arise during construction.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in structural engineering technology and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a master's degree being an added advantage.
- Minimum of five years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design.
- Proficiency in using engineering design and analysis software such as Revit and Finite Element Analysis.
- Strong understanding of seismic design principles and their application in structural engineering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering principles and methods to non-engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
- Professional engineering (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and complying with all relevant regulations and codes.
