Overview

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our cardiovascular team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition, prepare and position patients for care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Professional Practice
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation of new staff.
  • Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
  • Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
  • BLS certification required, ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
