Role Summary

As a Pouching Quality Assurance Associate, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and quality of the finished pouches produced on the pouching lines. You will also verify the accuracy of pouch quantities in each stack and ensure proper packaging for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections on all pouches.
  • Verify that the correct quantity is prepared for shipment.
  • Oversee the printing, die-cutting, and sealing quality of pouches, providing feedback to the pouching operator as necessary.
  • Manage the packaging process and core tagging of products.
  • Adhere to instructions outlined in the traveler documentation.
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to comprehend printed instructions.
  • Responsible for minimizing costs associated with the Pouching Department by reducing waste and preventing reworks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English to follow instructions and understand safety labels.
  • Ensure that all tasks align with the information provided on the work ticket.
Training Requirements:
  • Willingness to participate in mandatory training sessions related to the position.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
  • Ability to operate machinery safely.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, and pulling as part of job duties.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug tests.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dust and noise typical of a production setting.
  • Warehouse temperatures may vary based on external conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Compliance with company PPE requirements as specified for the role.
