Core Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Migration Leadership: Oversee the transition from AWS to GCP, ensuring a seamless process with minimal impact.

  • Container Management: Utilize Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to manage and orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Networking Solutions: Construct and maintain hosts within VPCs and VPNs, optimizing cloud networking setups.
  • Infrastructure Management: Employ Terraform for infrastructure code management and verification, improving deployment efficiency and dependability.
  • Collaboration & Support: Partner with internal and external users of our Retail and Development Partner Channel products, delivering specialized assistance and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications & Required Expertise:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • GCP Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of GCP services and architecture.
  • GKE Expertise: Proven ability to deploy and manage applications using GKE.
  • Networking Experience: Familiarity with building and managing VPCs and VPNs.
  • Migration Experience: Demonstrated success in migrating from AWS to GCP or other cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Terraform Knowledge: Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Certifications: GCP/GKE certifications are highly desirable.
