Schedule Overview

This 2nd shift production role requires working Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-10:30pm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment by communicating safety requirements, auditing, tracking, providing feedback and corrective actions to employees and management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maximize line efficiency with minimal direction while maintaining a clean work environment and reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Implement and follow 5S guidelines to promote a well-organized workspace.
  • Lead and direct all production line operators, resolve personnel issues on the line, and communicate effectively with the Pour Technician to maintain production levels.
  • Maintain/verify line data entry, weights collection, glass temps, pour temps, rejection reports, and WO signoffs.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, ensuring all people throughout the line are rotated systematically for cross-training purposes, safety, and ergonomic reasons.
  • Identify issues quickly, identify root cause, and implement solutions as needed, coordinating corrective action with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate equipment issues to maintenance and supervisors, utilizing hand tools as necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of related experience.
  • A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of products manufactured, including health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to use various machines and practical skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to be accurate, patient, and responsible.

Compensation Package
