Cake Decorator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet the high standards of our members.

• Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery productions, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert Baker: Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs, following recipe measurement instructions, and working with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Be a Tech-Savvy Baker: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner of Quality: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training to develop, influence, and inspire them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style.
• Comply with Company Policies: Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete Work Assignments: Use policies, data, and resources to complete work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.

To be successful as a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will need:

• 6 Months' Experience: Have 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
• Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years old.
• Training and Assessments: Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
