Job Summary

Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through the implementation of treatment plans, education, and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in providing skilled physical therapy treatment plans to patients.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists.
  • Implement treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, as directed by physical therapists.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physical therapists, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
