Job DescriptionThe Surgical Technologist Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists with routine and delegated duties under direct supervision.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with circulating RNs to ensure accurate counts and management of sterile fields.
- Recognize and respond to changing situations and priorities during surgical procedures.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist are also required.
