About the Job:

This Manufacturing Operations Specialist role involves setting up, running, adjusting, cleaning, and monitoring assigned machines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail for quality control, and a focus on safety.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery and equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with packaging equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure that packaging machines are calibrated correctly to maintain the quality and consistency of packaging materials and products.
  • Follow all safety regulations and protocols when operating machinery.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • A solid understanding of the machine's purpose, operation, and best practices.
  • Experience working with plastics injection molding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
