Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A Regional

Are you a skilled and experienced truck driver looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Ryder System Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A CDL truck driver to join our team as a Regional Driver.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced truck driver to operate a Class A CDL vehicle in a regional setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, adhering to strict safety and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class A CDL vehicle in a regional setting, transporting goods and materials across the country.
  • Adhere to strict safety and regulatory guidelines, ensuring a safe and efficient transportation process.
  • Load and unload freight, as required by the customer.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
