Program Overview

The SmartStyle Hair Salon Stylist Training Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in a salon setting. Participants will learn the intricacies of salon operations and customer service, with the potential for advancement to a permanent stylist position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for advancement to Stylist role by developing technical skills and knowledge of salon operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for guests
  • Recommend and sell salon products to guests, driving sales and revenue growth
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to salon standards
  • Participate in training sessions and salon meetings, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Must obtain a cosmetology license within a specified timeframe
  • Exhibit strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Demonstrate basic computer knowledge, with the ability to navigate salon software and systems
  • Display flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with occasional sitting and walking
  • Use repetitive motions for various services, with proper ergonomics and safety precautions
  • Lift and move salon equipment and products, adhering to safety guidelines
  • Travel may be required for training and professional development
