Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Mammography Exams: Conduct high-quality mammography exams on patients, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including exam documentation, patient history, and pertinent clinical data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review imaging results and assist in patient care decisions.
  • Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA Council of Education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of pertinent experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, Registered as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT), Registered as a Radiography Technologist (ARRT), and Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
