We are seeking a talented Patient Access Intake Representative to join our team at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA.

About the Role

• This is a per diem position with varying shifts, including day and evening hours, and weekend and holiday rotations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating patient access, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and collecting accurate patient information.

Responsibilities

1. Perform a wide range of duties to support patient access throughout the organization.
2. Determine and actively collect patient liabilities.
3. Ensure patient safety and optimal reimbursement in accordance with external regulations.

Requirements

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional courses or training required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Medical Terminology Certificate required.
• Demonstrated communication & interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong computer skills including medical based programs required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, and other software programs is preferred.
• Three (3) years related health care experience including working with third party payers is required.

Estimated Salary Range: $16.39 - $27.50 per hour.
