Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at UW Medical Center - Montlake. This role involves performing specialized imaging procedures and working with advanced technology in the field of nuclear medicine.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT, NMTCB certifications are mandatory.
  • Evidence of Certification: Candidates must provide proof of their certifications.
Job Details
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, including NMTCB or ARRT (N) and PET experience.
  • Licensing: A valid Washington state license is essential.
  • Position/Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Shift Schedule: 4x10 hours, ranging from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no Sundays and variable days off from Monday to Saturday.
  • Weekend Requirements: Weekend work is expected.
  • On-call Requirements: Participation in on-call duties is necessary.
  • Floating: Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital, but not to sister facilities.
Additional Information
  • First-timers: New graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Pending Licenses: Candidates with pending licenses will not be considered.
  • Requested Time Off (RTO): A maximum of 1 week is allowed for RTO.
Special Notes

This position involves a variety of procedures including PET cardiac perfusion scans, Muga studies, and various other nuclear medicine imaging techniques. Candidates should be prepared to handle diverse responsibilities and work in a dynamic environment.

Guaranteed Hours

In case of low patient census, healthcare providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call in 4-hour increments, up to 1 shift worth of hours in a 2-week cycle.
