About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at MRG Exams in Fort Wayne, IN. As a Diagnostic Audiologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating the hearing abilities of United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to provide medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work with a high volume of patients, averaging 3-6 assessments per day.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to provide medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process
  • Analyze patient data and develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Auditorium Doctorate (Au.D.) degree from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Audiologist
  • Covid-19 vaccination

Based on industry standards and regional averages, the estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.
