Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Vascular Interventional Lab. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for performing sterile diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures using fluoroscopic equipment (Siemens Artis-zee C-Arm) and other endovascular specific devices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with sterile procedures, anticipate their needs, and ensure aseptic and sterile techniques are observed.
  • Maintain intra-arterial access as prescribed by Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Peripheral Cardiologists.
  • Utilize proper positioning criteria and technical exposure factors to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Participate in physiologic monitoring of patients and assist as needed with all members of the healthcare team.
  • Input procedural charges into the computer system (EPIC and Radiant).
