**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel and surrounding areas to prevent and detect any security breaches.
  • Inspect property to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions and expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
  • Observe equipment and machinery and report tampering or misuse.
  • Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
  • Sound alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic to maintain orderly flow.
  • Write clear and concise accident reports.
  • Make safety inspections of the entire property and report safety or policy violations to supervisor.
  • Effectively handle non-guest and trespassers without interrupting the orderly flow of the business.
  • Ensure that all Security operations procedures are followed by the associates of the hotel.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience preferred.
  • Able to work weekends and flexible schedule.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificates required.
