Job Summary

The SLAM Collaborative is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing site plans for various projects, including theme park attractions and educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with staff to advance project objectives and develop strong planning and design concepts
* Translate design concepts into technical drawings and specifications using AutoCad Civil 3D
* Produce civil engineering plans for site development, including demolition, erosion control, site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and construction details
* Assist with other project needs, such as site visits, communication with owners and contractors, and construction administration

Requirements

* Earned an ABET Accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering degree
* Possess an Engineering Intern (EI) certification
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact daily with clients, owners, and contractors
* Ability to evaluate sites analytically and graphically, with a team player mentality and proficient organizational and time management skills
* Experience with site grading and drainage design, site utility design, stormwater design, permitting, and site planning/layout is preferred but not required
