Licensed Practical Nurse Position

HCA Healthcare is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, and we're looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Advanced Gastroenterology Specialists HD. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to manage patient flow, including screening, preparation for exams, instructing patients on sample collection, and obtaining vital signs. You will also be responsible for notifying patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures as directed by providers
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/test results
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in practical nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting. A graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is also required.
