Summary:


The Clinical Nutrition Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality nutrition services by collaborating with a diverse healthcare team to enhance wellness, support health maintenance, and provide interventions for both acute and chronic health conditions.

This role involves administering medical nutrition therapy for all patients, adhering to the directives of healthcare providers, as well as the policies of the hospital and the Clinical Nutrition Department.

Conduct thorough assessments for all patients identified as being at nutritional risk according to established protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored nutrition education as needed.
  • Support the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department teams in their initiatives.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a foundational professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, along with a solid understanding of the principles and practices within the field of nutrition.


Experience:
Less than one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Educational Background:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related discipline. Completion of a Dietetic internship is required. Successful completion of the registration examination for dietitians (RDN) is necessary.

Licensure: Candidates must hold a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials.
