**Job Responsibilities**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Driver to join our team at Salvation Army Tucson. As a Janitor/Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff. This will include:
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the first, second, and third floors, childcare, and kitchen/dining room area.
- Performing janitorial duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including floor cleaning machines and blower.
- Assisting with special events, community events, classes, and meetings in setting up and breaking down.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management personnel.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school education or equivalent.
- One year of experience in housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
- A valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals and compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and flexibility of hours.
**Working Conditions**
This role requires the ability to:
- Walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.
- Grasp, push, pull objects such as brooms and floor cleaning equipment, and reach overhead.
- Operate floor cleaning equipment, blower, lawn mower, and paint sprayer.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
