Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (dependent on experience and location)

Job Description:

In this role, you will assist in procedures involving the heart and vascular system, particularly those that require catheterization. You will work alongside cardiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to diagnose and treat heart conditions.

The key responsibilities include:

* Preparing patients for procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, or pacemaker insertion.

* Operating and monitoring medical imaging equipment (e.g., X-rays, fluoroscopy) during procedures.

* Setting up and testing equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

* Assisting in catheter insertion and guiding its placement during procedures.

* Explaining procedures to patients and ensuring they are comfortable.

* Monitoring patients' vital signs before, during, and after the procedure.

* Responding quickly to emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, during procedures.

* Recording patient information, procedural data, and findings accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician

* An associate degree or higher in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a related field.

* Certification or training in cardiac catheterization is preferred.

* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
