Hybrid Tax Senior Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to client tax strategy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and ensure their timely and accurate submission.
  • Assist with tax planning and research, including analyzing current and proposed tax legislation to identify potential impacts on the organization.
  • Support tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities, including preparing responses and defending filing positions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for minimizing the organization's tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are appropriately addressed in business decisions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA designation is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
