Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in clinical team conferences to discuss patient progress and develop care plans
  • Comply with hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years
  • A current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice required
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ongoing need for employees to see and read information, and labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employees to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergencies
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to precisely and accurately manipulate complex and delicate equipment
  • Expected to lift and utilize the full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
