About the Role

As an Actuarial Managing Consultant, you will play a key role in managing projects from cultivation to completion, leading team meetings, and guiding, managing, and coaching Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project execution and planning, staffing, deadlines, and budgets
  • Lead team meetings and guide, manage, and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants
  • Develop and manage project execution and planning, staffing, deadlines, and budgets
  • Work closely with Associate Directors, Directors, and Partners to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments
  • Take part in sales initiatives and Practice Development
  • Support both Medicaid and Commercial clients
  • Develop healthcare projections, analyze risk adjustment impacts, and design and evaluate value-based contracts and other risk-sharing models for clients
Requirements
  • Completion of at least four actuarial exams, with intent and ability to progress to ASA or FSA
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or similar
  • At least five years of work experience, including analysis and summarization of data using spreadsheets, knowledge of actuarial and statistical modeling techniques, proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
