Job Summary:

Wexford Health Sources is seeking a skilled Dentist to provide oral health care services to patients at Pinckneyville Correctional Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and experience working in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide preventative and restorative treatment to patients
  • Supervise dental staff and manage the dental activity
  • Perform radiographic examinations and operative dentistry
  • Repair and fit prosthetic devices
  • Supervise staff in cleaning teeth, making impressions, and planning oral hygiene programs

Requirements:

  • Current Illinois State Dental license
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Current CPR certification
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year practicing dentistry
  • Correctional experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
