Position Summary

At Clay Lacy Aviation, we pride ourselves on having top-tier pilots in the industry. Our selection process is thorough, ensuring that we evaluate each candidate's procedural skills and situational awareness meticulously.

We are currently in search of a Captain for our Part 91 Gulfstream 650 operations based in White Plains, New York. While preference will be given to typed Captains, we are open to considering non-typed PICs with robust qualifications. Candidates must either reside within a two-hour driving distance or be prepared to relocate to meet this requirement.

This position offers an enhanced compensation package, comprehensive medical coverage, and a matching 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Gulfstream 650 aircraft in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency during all flight operations.
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and decision-making skills.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 1,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
  • ATP certification is mandatory.
  • Type Certification is preferred, with at least 200 hours in type; however, highly qualified PIC candidates may be considered.
  • Must be able to travel unrestricted to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean destinations.
  • Compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations and company operational standards is required.
  • Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks.
  • Submission of complete FAA certificates and medical documentation is necessary during the application process.
