Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team at South Shore Bank. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for analyzing commercial and industrial loan applications to ensure they meet our bank's risk tolerance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with loan officers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare and present credit analysis reports to senior management and the Executive Committee
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal risk management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting
  • At least one year of experience in commercial lending or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of commercial lending practices and regulations, including GAAP and regulatory requirements
