Ryder System is seeking a dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- Uniforms and boot allowance provided
- Paid personal time off starts at day hours accrued in first year
- Do not lose paid personal time policy - we encourage you to use vacation time earned
