Job Summary: As a Switcher at FedEx, you will be responsible for performing trailer switches, communicating with management and central control, and documenting trailer moves.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform trailer switches, including hooking and moving trailers from the yard to a load/unload door or vice versa
* Communicate with management and central control to coordinate trailer movements
* Document trailer moves using the Yard Management System or switcher cards
* Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment
* Understand and demonstrate effective yard switching safety processes and procedures
* Perform Package Handler essential functions, including loading and unloading packages and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling packages

Requirements:

* CDL license
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment
