We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our Medical Telemetry team at Southwest General Health Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
- Monitor equipment function and report any issues to the nursing staff.
- Document patient information and care provided on appropriate forms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of prior healthcare experience preferred.
- STNA certification preferred but not required.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
