We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Investment Analyst to join our Public Securities Group in Chicago. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with investment and risk professionals to enhance existing investment strategies and create new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative investment portfolios to meet client demand for thematic or systematic asset allocation strategies.
  • Design and implement quantitative tools for back testing of systematic investment strategies across various asset classes, including equity, commodities, fixed income, and multi-asset.
  • Analyze financial and economic conditions to inform trading, portfolio performance, and risk management decisions.
  • Collaborate with fundamental investment teams to incorporate new data and quantitative techniques into the investment process and screening tools.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to visualize and present research results.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role within an asset manager, bank, or hedge fund.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a highly quantitative field.
  • Strong programming and system integration skills, with proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience working with factor models used in portfolio construction and risk management.
  • Knowledge of portfolio optimization techniques used to target different outcomes with complex constraints.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas with clarity and conviction.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
  • Able to prioritize and work independently on multiple tasks to ensure complex projects are completed by deadline.
