Residential Appraisal Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Appraisal Supervisor to join our team at Tyler Technologies. As a key member of our Property and Recording division, you will be responsible for leading our residential appraisal team and ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our mass appraisal services.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalize property values through a comprehensive analysis of cost, income, and market approaches.
• Analyze market, cost, and land models to identify patterns and anomalies in individual properties.
• Prepare and present defense of values to appointed boards.
• Conduct property inspections and gather images to ensure accurate property records.
• Collect and record detailed property and economic data, verifying information through interviews with property owners or occupants when available.
• Oversee the training and development of residential data collectors.
• Perform quality assurance checks on completed property data reports.
• Manage schedules, payroll approval, and production reports.
• Ensure production standards meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience as a residential review appraiser or certified property assessor.
• Practitioner - Tax Assessor or Appraiser certification.
• Excellent analytical and spatial abilities.
• Ability to visualize floor plans and calculate square footage.
• Working knowledge of a CAMA system.
• General PC skills, including MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and full insurance on vehicle.
