Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to become a part of our Baby Care Site Engineering team in Cape Girardeau, MO, as the Power Systems Technical Engineering Leader.

Key Responsibilities
The Baby Care Site Engineering team is tasked with the continuous improvement of offline systems and the facilities and utilities that support world-class diaper manufacturing. The Power Systems Technical Engineering Leader will oversee all power systems, which encompass all equipment and systems connecting the power provider to the in-plant process modules. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and leadership for power systems at the Cape Baby Care site.
  • Collaborating with Electrical System Owners (ESO's) to ensure timely project involvement and efficient problem resolution.
  • Driving the implementation of innovative methods, practices, and technologies across the site and regional network.
  • Linking the site to the Regional and Global Power Systems Networks to leverage P&G's extensive capabilities.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree from an accredited institution or have significant experience (3+ years) in electrical power system technology. Preference will be given to those with:

  • Experience in power delivery equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of P&G's electrical safety program.
  • Construction experience with the ability to identify substandard installations.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage systems, including substation applications and switchgear design.

Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Technical proficiency in electrical codes and regulations in North America.
  • Familiarity with local and regional electrical safety standards.
  • Proficiency in software for calculating short circuit currents and flash hazard levels.
  • Strong computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
