Seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care in our Loudoun office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering infusion therapy, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients receiving infusion therapy, recognizing physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer infusion therapy, including venipuncture and accessing implanted ports.
  • Document all elements of care, ensuring accurate and timely recording of patient information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, preferably in an oncology environment.
  • Current or pending Oncology certification preferred.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
